The dendritic width of the second type of CA2 basket cells was significantly broader than that of the first type of CA2 basket cells and of CA1 basket cells (Mann–Whitney U test, p < 0.05; U = 0). Their axons extended farther than those of CA2 basket cells with narrow dendritic arbor (Mann–Whitney U test, p < 0.05; U = 0).
