Table 1. Mean properties of AP and interspike interval in GoCs

Mean ± s.e.m. (n = 6)
All parameters were measured during the pacemaker cycle in six morphologically identified GoCs (GoC-like axon present) firing at 2.5–3.6 Hz in current-clamp recordings (RT; holding current in the range −20 to +10 pA). In this frequency range, there was no correlation between measured AP parameters and frequency. t10–90, 10–90% spike rise time. See Methods for details.
Spike peak  21.8 ± 3.6 mV
Spike threshold −55.3 ± 1.0 mV
Spike half-width   1.22 ± 0.08 ms
t10–90  440 ± 28 μs
Mean V subthreshold −67.9 ± 1.0 mV
AHP trough −74.9 ± 1.5 mV
AHP rise  37 ± 6 ms
