Spike width is measured at one-half of the peak amplitude of the action potential. Input resistance (R in) is derived from the linear portion of the current-voltage curve (0 to −0.5 nA). Time constant is derived from transients of hyperpolarizing pulse (−0.3 nA, 200 ms). RMP, resting membrane potential.
